Walking

If your interest is to pull on some comfy shoes and go for a stroll amongst the scenic surroundings, then the village of Maiden Newton certainly caters for you. The village is situated on two major walking routes: - Wessex Ridgeway and Macmillan Way.

For the Macmillan Way, we are the first/last stop on your journey depending on whether you are heading out of or into the county, on the 290 mile route between Abbotsbury, Dorset and Boston, Lancashire.

The Wessex Ridgeway crosses the heartland of Dorset and delivers many breathtaking views of the county.

Cycling

No.64 Café is a regular stop for local cycling clubs on various routes through the village. Enjoy a well-earned break in the knowledge that your bike can be safely stored in our outside storage area.
